July 20 Gratitudes, Intentions, and Affirmations
Well yesterday was a 14 hour work day for me between my "real" job and the studio. Sometimes I am amazed at my stamina, but I know that this cannot continue forever. I have to set boundaries with my "real" job consistently or I am heading for trouble. Thankfully this Sunday is the day I have to get my application in to be a CEU provider. There is simply no room for procrastination. That is a good thing. It will no longer be hanging over me …. of course then I have to write the course…. To be honest, my experiences lately in my new position have been some of the most humbling in my life. I know that it is not for nothing – I am being stretched and molded for some good purpose.
Today I am grateful for Friday, down time Friday night through Sunday morning with plenty of beach time figured in, time to complete my application on Sunday, stamina, resilience, my coworkers who are very supportive – Debbie, Chelsea, Jason, Karen, Kirsten, Bea, that everything is temporary, for a feeling that things are getting shades better each week, the advice from a coworker to set consistent boundaries on my time, lessons in boundaries that seem to be abounding right now, Joseph vacuuming the floor last night, my company who is arriving today.
Today I intend to be focused, productive, and calm, have the day go smoothly, completely let go of work the moment I walk out the door and drop into bliss.
All is well.
All is as it should be.
I got this … really.
