YOGA CLASSES

ARRIVE EARLY:  Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class (15 if you are a new student).

PAPERWORK:  Please fill out the Student Questionnaire prior to participating in your first class.  Print out the Yoga Student Questionnaire by clicking here.  You can also fill it out at the studio.

BE MINIMALLY DISRUPTIVE:  If you find that you will be unavoidably late, please call us at 826-4754 and let us know so that we can put a mat out for you.  If you arrive and find the door locked, go around to the door on 29th.  Once you see us moving out of opening meditation tap on the door.  We will come and let you in the 16th Street entrance.

NO SHOES:  Please leave your shoes, purses, etc in the lobby.  The doors are locked during class for the security of your belongings.

PASS EXPIRATIONS:  Please respect the expiration dates on yoga passes.  Five-class passes expire two months from date of purchase.  10-class passes expire in four months.   20-class passes expire in six months.  If you become ill for an extended time, please call and let us know.  We are happy to extend your pass under this circumstance.  Passes are not extended for vacation.

EATING:  Please refrain from eating at least two hours before class.  If you are starving eat something light like fruit or yogurt.  Yoga is more comfortable on an empty stomach.

CHEWING GUM:  Please refrain from chewing gum in class.

CELL PHONES:  Please leave your cell in the car.  If you must have it for emergencies please put it on vibrate.  If it should ring please go all the way outside to talk.

YOGA MAT:  Bring your own if you have one, but we have all the props you need.  Please clean your borrowed mat thoroughly after class with the cloths and spray provided.

CLOTHING:  Wear loose stretchy clothing that protects your modesty.

SELF-CARE:  Always practice at a level that is comfortable and safe for you.  Let the teacher know if you have an injury you are working with.

COMPETITION:  THIS IS A NONCOMPETITIVE ATMOSPHERE.  Please maintain a healing noncompetitive attitude – even toward yourself!

CONVERSATION:  Please refrain from having side conversations during class.  The occasional brief question or humerous comment is completely acceptable.

PRIVATE APPOINTMENTS

PAPERWORK:  Please fill out the Wellness Questionnaire before your appointment.  Click here to print and fill out the Wellness Questionnaire.

CANCELLATIONS Please cancel private appointments by noon the weekday before your appointment.  This allows us to book another client in your spot.  The ability to rebook cancelled appointment is crucial for the sustainability of our small business!  Except in case of sudden illness you will be charged for cancellations after this deadline.

WORKSHOPS

CANCELLATION:  There are no refunds for cancellation for workshops.  However cancellations by noon two days before the workshop can be applied to other Living Room Yoga events.
