About Us

Meet Stacy F. Cooper, the Founder of Living Room Yoga

Stacy’s journey to wellness began in 1998 when she became a licensed and registered occupational therapist. She discovered the power of yoga as a tool for stress and scoliosis management, and this led her to pursue a career as a yoga teacher and therapist. With her mission to put the tools of healing and wellness in the hands of individuals and bridge eastern and western medicine, she founded Living Room Yoga.

Stacy’s Compassionate Approach to Healing

Stacy’s warm and compassionate approach to teaching sets her apart. She tailors her teachings to the needs of her students and provides modifications for those with injuries. Her expertise in physical rehabilitation techniques, combined with her precision cueing, challenges students of all levels to reach their highest potential.

Meet Barry Cooper, Co-Owner of Living Room Yoga

Barry Cooper discovered the benefits of yoga in 2001 while working as a manager for Disney. To manage stress, asthma, and severe allergies, he turned to yoga and found a deep desire to delve deeper into the practice and share it with others. He completed his 200-hour teacher training with Edely Wallace through Yoga Matrix Studio in Orlando, Florida and began his ongoing study of Ayurveda through the Ayurvedic Academy based in Seattle and with Dinesh and Julia Mader of Rasayana Cove in Ona, Florida.

Barry’s Holistic Approach to Healing

Barry’s expertise includes Thai Body Work, Ayurvedic Medicine, and hatha yoga. He is a credentialed Ayurvedic Health Counselor and offers private Ayurvedic and Ayurvedic-Thai yoga instruction, as well as Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations and workshops. Through his partnership with Living Room Yoga, he shares his life-changing and mind-calming benefits with clients and students. Barry and his business partner and wife, Stacy, live an Ayurvedic lifestyle, which they credit with keeping them healthy and out of the doctor’s office.
